Gluten intolerance is a broad term that includes all kinds of sensitivity to gluten. The general symptoms of gluten intolerance include abdominal pain, gas, and diarrhea. A more advanced type of gluten intolerance, Celiac disease is an inherited autoimmune disorder characterized by malabsorption of gluten and subsequent intestinal damage.
