• The capsule is administered orally. As it reaches the stomach, a gel barrier forms to protect the active ingredient from the stomach’s acidity. Once in the intestines, the gel dissipates to ensure a controlled release of the active ingredients and maximise the product’s efficacy at the ideal site of action

When should you take this probiotic supplement?

• Fos-A-Dophilus is particularly recommended for people over 40 years of age as it is higher in Bifidobacteria, which colonise the large intestine and are less easily replenished in those over the age of 40.  For younger adults we generally recommend our ‘Acidophilus Plus’ supplement
• This product is ideal for long or short-term use, for acute gut issues or daily maintenance
• The capsule form of this product makes it ideal for travelling or taking on holiday
